Warren Tabbed Second Team All-American on Final Day of National Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Miami track and field team completed the 2024 track and field season Saturday afternoon at Hayward Field.

Miami jumper Christina Warren took home Second Team All-American honors for her performance in the women’s triple jump. Warren jumped a mark of 12.96m (42 feet, 6.25 inches). This is her first All-American honors of her career. The Hurricanes finished tied for 57th in the overall team standings.

After four days of competition, five Hurricanes were named First-Team All-Americans and two were named Second-Team All-Americans.

First Team All-Americans 

Edgar Campre – Decathlon

Devoux Deysel – Javelin

Milton Ingraham II – Discus

Russell Robinson – Triple Jump

Deisiane Teixeira – Javelin

Second Team All-Americans

Kennedy Sauder – High Jump

Christina Warren – Triple Jump

In her 34 years as head coach, Amy Deem has now surpassed 200 All-Americans coached, bringing her total to 204 athletes. Prior to her being named head coach in 1990, the Hurricanes had never had an athlete record an NCAA qualifying mark.
