Natalija Marshall Joins Miami Women's Basketball as Grad Transfer
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Miami women’s basketball is excited to announce the signing of Natalija Marshall, a graduate transfer from Notre Dame as made public Saturday, April 27.
Marshall earned three letters as a 6-5 forward for the Fighting Irish. She was a member of the 2023 ACC Regular Season Championship program, as well as the 2024 ACC Regular Season and Tournament Championships.
Marshall played in 75 games in three seasons of playing time in South Bend, Ind. The forward is coming off her best season, a year that saw her set career highs in points per game (5.0), rebounds per game (3.7) and minutes per game (20.2).
“We are so excited Nat is joining us,” head coach Tricia Cullop said. “She is a veteran ACC post who can face the basket or play with her back to it. She runs the floor extremely well and is perfect for our style of play. She’s also an outstanding teammate and leader who will only make our chemistry and culture stronger. I can’t wait to coach her!”
Marshall proved to be a contributor in all areas of the game, chipping in with eight multi-block performances a year ago. That total was highlighted by a six-block outburst against Purdue this season. She also came up with 10 points off the bench in a road win against eventual Final Four team, UConn.
Prior to her time at Notre Dame, Marshall attended Christ the King High School in Queens, N.Y. She was invited to the 2020 Jordan Brand Classic and won the 2019 New York State Federation Championship among a series of other accolades. Marshall was named 2019 First Team All-New York State and three-time All-New York City.
Marshall joins Haley Cavinder, Hanna Cavinder and Daniela Abies as transfer additions to have signed with Miami this month.
