Hurricanes Set Sights on Cross-Country South Regional
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Miami cross-country team will travel to Gainesville, Florida Friday morning to compete at the NCAA Cross-Country South Regional.
The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. ET for the women’s 6K and 9:30 a.m. for the men’s 10K event.
The final course before the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships will take place at the Mark Bostick Golf Course at the University of Florida. A detailed diagram of Friday morning’s route be found HERE.

Junior Daphnee Lavassas is the runner to watch for the Hurricanes as the Miami, Florida, native earned a time of 20:24.6 at the ACC Cross Country Championships two weeks ago in Tallahassee, good for 28th out of 132 runners.
