Three Hurricanes Selected to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team

Three members of the University of Miami women’s track and field team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

Senior Lauryn Harris, sophomore Elle Mezzio, and graduate student Taylor Wright represent Miami as academic all-district honorees. The three student-athletes will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.

The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.  The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes track & field/cross country honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. First, second, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 28 for women and June 29 for men.
