Hebron Named USTFCCCA Athlete of the Week
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Freshman Sanaa Hebron was named the national athlete of the week, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced Tuesday.
With an incredible time of 56.47 in the women’s 400m hurdle event this past Saturday at the Hurricane Invitational, the freshman sprinter continues to make headlines early in the outdoor season.
Hebron’s time of 56.47 was ranked number one in the country this past week and was a new personal best for Hebron as well.
This is the first time in program history that an athlete from Miami has been named M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week during the outdoor season (USTFCCCA.com)
This week the hurricanes will host the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational at Cobb Stadium on March 25.
