CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Fifth-year thrower Hannah-Sophia Hall and Freshman sprinter Sanaa Hebron have both been named this week’s ACC Performers of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Hall, the defending ACC indoor champion in the women’s weight throw, placed first Saturday at the Hurricane Invitational in the women’s shot put, finishing with a mark of 16.61m. The Union City, California native currently ranks third in the nation and first in the ACC with that distance.

Freshman Sanaa Hebron also had an impressive outing of her own at the Hurricane Invitational on Saturday, posting a time of 56.47 in the women’s 400m hurdles. The performance marked a new personal best for Hebron and currently stands as the top-time in the country in the event.

Earlier Tuesday, Hebron was named national performer of the week by the USTFCCCA as well.

The Miami track and field team will compete at Cobb Stadium on Sat., March 25, at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational.
