Canes Close Indoor Season at NCAA Championships

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of Miami track and field team closed out the 2022 indoor season on Saturday at the NCAA National Championships inside the Birmingham Crossplex.

Isaiah Holmes and Ayman Zahafi each finished 11th in their respective events. Holmes posted a long jump of 7.15 meters, while Zahafi ran an 800-meter time of 1:48.37.

Hannah-Sophia Hall capped off the weekend in the shot put, claiming 12th with a throw of 16.52 meters.

The Hurricanes open the 2022 outdoor season in Coral Gables, Mar. 18-19, with the Hurricane Invitational. Admission is free for fans.
