19 Student-Athletes Earn Degrees from Miami
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Nineteen student-athletes earned degrees from the University of Miami Friday, where official Fall 2021 commencement exercises were being held at Watsco Center.
“Today marks a memorable moment for many of our student-athletes as they officially earn a degree from the University of Miami,” Deputy Director of Athletics and Chief Operating Officer Jennifer Strawley said. “I am proud of their dedication and determination, and I look forward to seeing where their life’s journey takes them from here. They will always be a part of our U Family.”
Eight of UM’s athletic programs were represented in Fall 2021 commencement, led by the football team with nine graduates, including safety Bubba Bolden, wide receiver Mike Harley and quarterback D’Eriq King, who earned his graduate degree. The list also includes All-ACC volleyball selection Savannah Vach and NCAA pentathlon champion Michelle Atherley, who earned her graduate degree.
