adidas x Miami Unveil Uniform Collection for NCAA Postseason

adidas and University of Miami today unveil the Create Yours uniform collection for the 2017 NCAA basketball postseason. The uniform collection features design elements that honor Miami’s unique identity and school history and will be on-court beginning March 8th.

The collection features a re-engineered mesh fabric designed for increased breathability. The jerseys and shorts both feature French terry wipe-zones for further sweat management during the game’s biggest moments.

The shorts feature a Hurricane print, inspired by the city’s weather. Trim on the inside of the jersey neck reads “The U” and “#itsallabouttheu” to emphasize a team-first mentality.

For the first time, both men’s and women’s teams will don new uniforms for postseason play. The women’s jerseys have Hurricanes themed black trim strategically placed at the bottom of the jersey so the players can look down and see, “It’s about The U” when they need encouragement. The shorts also feature the Hurricane print.

Players will lace up Miami themed Dame 3 basketball shoes with a patterned midsole inspired by the Doppler radar used to track incoming hurricanes.  

Hurricanes fans can pick up their jersey at adidas.com and campus area retailers beginning this March.
