GREENSBORO, N.C. – University of Miami sophomore women’s golfer Daniela Darquea was named to the 2015 All-Atlantic Coast Conference team on Wednesday.
The Quito, Ecuador native was one of 12 golfers selected to the ACC’s all-league team.
Darquea was selected to the team after she posted a team-best scoring average of 72.86 and led the squad with 90 birdies.
During the 2014-15 campaign, Darquea finished in the top 15 in seven different events, including a winning performance at the Briar’s Creek Invitational.
Darquea tied for eighth at the 2015 ACC Championship after she carded a three-round total of 214.
The Hurricanes return to action on May 7 as they compete in the 2015 NCAA Regional in St. George, Utah.
