Game Time Updates for Thanksgiving Tournament

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami is set to host the Miami Thanksgiving Tournament at the BankUnited Center on the two days following the holiday, Nov. 28 and Nov. 29.

Buffalo, Illinois State and Tulsa will be coming down to Coral Gables, Fla. for the tournament to play Friday and Saturday. The game times for day one were previously set, with Miami (2-1) facing Illinois State (0-4) at 1:00 p.m. Friday and then Buffalo (2-1) and Tulsa (1-2) squaring off at 3:00 p.m.

The game times for day two of the tournament are now confirmed as well. The Hurricanes will play at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in their second game of the event.

Should Miami defeat Illinois State, it will play the winner of the Buffalo/Tulsa game in the championship game at the time. If the Redbirds win, Miami would take on the loser of the Buffalo/Tulsa contest in the consolation game.

The second game of the day on Nov. 29 is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. and will feature Illinois State against either the Bulls of Buffalo or the Golden Hurricane of Tulsa.
