Dwayne Johnson No. 23 on Forbes Celebrity 100

Former Miami Hurricanes defensive end Dwayne Johnson checks in at No. 23 on Forbes’ 2014 Celebrity 100 list. Johnson, who gained national fame for his professional wrestling career as “The Rock”, is making a name for himself in Hollywood as a movie star.

He is slated to star in Hercules later this year and is currently filming 2015’s earthquake disaster film San Andreas.

A member of Miami’s 1991 National Championship team, Johnson played four years with the Hurricanes, finishing with 77 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 39 career games.

Current Miami Hurricanes players call the Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Locker Room home inside the $15 million Schwartz Center for Athletic Excellence.
