Kids Get in Free on Sunday!

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes are offering FREE tickets to ALL children 12 and under for the women’s basketball team’s final regular season game on Sunday, March 2.

The Canes square off against new ACC member Pittsburgh at 1 p.m. in what will be Senior Day for starters Maria Brown and South Broward’s own Krystal Saunders.

For those wishing to take advantage of the ticket offer, simply arrive at the BankUnited Center box office starting at noon. Adults will still be required to purchase a ticket at the normal rate of $5.

In addition to all children 12 and under getting free admission, the Hurricanes will also be putting on a FREE Sports Clinic for girls in 7th grade and under to celebrate the 28th Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day.

National Girls and Women in Sports Day recognizes the history of women in sports and the continuing fight for equality by women’s sports.

University of Miami student-athletes from track and field, soccer, rowing and volleyball, as well as the cheerleading and dance teams, will interact with participants and teach them a number of skills from their respective sports.

The clinic will take place at 11 a.m. in the Fieldhouse at the BankUnited Center on the University of Miami’s campus and is open to all girls in the 7th grade and below. Those that register online will receive complimentary admission to the basketball game.

Due to NCAA regulations all clinic participants must be in the 7th grade or under.
