Golf Slips to 21st at NCAA West Regional
STANFORD, Calif. – The 54th-ranked Miami Hurricanes women’s golf team fell to 21st overall Friday after the second round of the NCAA West Regional at Stanford Golf Course. After a second-round 312, the Canes sit at 51-over 619, four strokes behind Florida State.

Six golfers are under-par through 36 holes, including USC’s Annie Park, who is the individual leader at 4-under 138.
“Today was not a great day for the Hurricanes,” third-year head coach Patti Rizzo said. “Maybe tomorrow will be our day. It’ll be our final round for the spring season, so let’s make it a great one.”
Sophomore All-ACC performer Leticia Ras-Anderica is tied for 59th overall at 10-over 152. Ras-Anderica carded a second-round 77, which included an eagle on the par-5 No. 12. Fellow sophomore Rika Park trails Ras-Anderica by one stroke, shooting 11-over 153 through 36 holes. Park is tied for 68th overall.
