@MiamiWBB Back in AP Poll at No. 24
CORALGABLES, Fla. – After a three-weekabsence, the University of Miami women’s basketball team returned to the AssociatedPress Poll released Monday, coming in at No. 24.
The Hurricanes have started 3-0 in ACC playfor just the second time since joining the league in 2004 and own a 12-2overall mark. The two losses have come to Tennessee and at Rutgers.
Miami has won 10 consecutive home games andhave been victorious in 51 of its last 52 games played inside BankUnitedCenter. Overall, the Canes have won five straight contests.
Sunday’s game against Virginia was the end ofa five-game home set and now UM goes on the road to face No. 10 Maryland onThursday and No. 18 Florida State on Sunday.
