CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Let’s make it a night of Miami Hurricanes basketball.
Fans that attend the men’s basketball second round NIT game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers are encouraged to hang around the BankUnited Center afterward to watch the women’s basketball team as it attempts to secure its first ever Sweet 16 appearance.
The men’s basketball team’s second round NIT game tips off at 9 p.m. , inside the BankUnited Center. Tickets start at just $10 and top out at $25.
Approximately 40 minutes after Coach Larranaga’s team begins, the women’s basketball team will battle No. 11-seed Gonzaga on its home court in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The No. 3-seed Canes started the tourney with a 70-41 win over No. 14-seed Idaho State on Saturday.
After the men’s game concludes, fans will be invited into the H100 Room to cheer on head coach Katie Meier, All-American Shenise Johnson and the entire women’s basketball team on what could be a historic night.
