Hurricanes Without Riquna Williams in Spokane

CORAL GABLES, Fla. –University of Miami women’s basketball senior guard Riquna Williams did not accompany the Hurricanes on their trip to Spokane, Wash. for the NCAA Tournament due to conduct detrimental to the team.

 “I am disappointed, but we have already moved forward and I am extremely confident in the Hurricane team that will take the floor in Spokane,” said UM head coach Katie Meier.  “We have had two great weeks of preparation for the NCAA Tournament and are focused on the challenge that Idaho State presents.”
