Miami Madness at the BankUnited Center Oct. 20

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Join the Miami Hurricanes men’s and women’s basketball teams for Miami Madness on Thursday, Oct. 20 at the BankUnited Center. Doors for the free event open at 7:30 p.m. and the madness begins at 8 p.m.

First year men’s head coach Jim Larranaga and reigning AP Women’s National Coach of the Year Katie Meier and their staffs will be on hand to emcee the night. Guests will have plenty of opportunities to get to know both coaches.

This will be the public’s first look at both teams as the men and women will both hold scrimmages. There will be player introductions in addition to plenty of opportunities for the fans to get involved. Fans will get a chance to participate in on-court promotions and contests as well as crowd competitions and giveaways.

Also performing will be the University of Miami Frost Band of the Hour, cheerleaders, Sebastian the Ibis and the Sunsations.
