Sunday: Miami vs. UNC Baseball Gameday Central

Chapel Hill, N.C. – The 20th-ranked University of Miami baseball team goes for a series sweep of the 10th-ranked University of North Carolina Tar Heels at Boshamer Stadium today at 1 p.m. The game is being broadcast live on CSS (channel 63 on Comcast Cable in the Greater Miami-Dade community).

The Hurricanes claimed the series victory yesterday with a doubleheader sweep of the Tar Heels – taking the first game 13-6 in extra innings, followed by the second game with a 5-3 count. Both UM starting pitchers earned the wins in the form of Bryan Radziewski (Game One) and Eric Whaley (Game Two), while Rony Rodriguez and Nathan Melendres each pushed out home runs in the upset wins.

Sunday’s game features live audio provided by the nationally acclaimed WVUM sports staff, the student voice of the Miami Hurricanes, located at 90.5 FM on your radio dial. You can also listen to the broadcast via internet at WVUM.org. Justin Antweil and Scott Braun will have the call beginning at 12:45 p.m.
