Ronderos Finishes in the Top-10 Again at John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga.  – Senior Maria Ronderos shot an even-par 72 in the final round of the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate to record her seventh straight top-10 finish on Tuesday. The team placed 14th at the event, held at Eagle’s Landing Country Club.

Ronderos put together rounds of 77, 71 and 72 in the tournament on her way to a sixth place finish. The senior has now placed in the top-10 in all five spring tournaments, shooting an average of 73.64 this season. She also placed in the top-10 in the final two tournaments of the fall. For the entire year, Ronderos leads the team with a 73.60 stroke average.

Senior Christina Hirano also highlighted the day for the Hurricanes with a one-over par 73 to finish in a tie for 28th place.

Notre Dame took home the team championship at the tournament, while Mitsuki Katahira of Daytona State was the medalist.

This tournament wraps up the regular season for the Hurricanes, as they will head to the ACC Championships to compete in the highlight of the schedule from April 15-17 in Greensboro, N.C.
