Rain Cuts Short Round Two of JU Classic

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The second round of the JU Classic was suspended Monday due to rain. Play will resume Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. and serve as the final round. The tournament has been shortened to 36 holes as the third round has been canceled.
Officials halted play at 11 a.m. today before waiting two hours to call off action for the day. The first group made it up to the 10th hole, while the final group will tee off from number two Tuesday.
Maria Ronderos, a member of the final group, is still tied for first place. The team sits one stroke behind host Jacksonville.
