Hurricanes Hold Third Annual Miami Men's BasketBowl

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Join seventh-year head coach Frank Haith and the Hurricanes men’s basketball team at the third annual University of Miami Men’s BasketBowl on Tues., Nov. 9, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Splitsville Lanes in Sunset Place.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the team and coaching staff and participate in an auction for exclusive prizes, including a VIP game experience.
Fans can sponsor a lane for $1,000 and get the opportunity for up to six guests to bowl with men’s basketball players and coaches, in addition to receiving food, soft drinks, shoe rental and a UM gift.
Adult admission is $75, while tickets for children 12 and under are $50. Admission includes food, soft drinks and a UM gift.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Miami men’s basketball program.
The Hurricanes host a pair of exhibition contests – on Wed., Nov. 3, versus Barry at 7:30 p.m. and on Mon., Nov. 8, vs. Florida Southern at 7:30 p.m. — before opening the regular season at home versus Jacksonville on Fri., Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. Miami, who went 20-13 last season and advanced to the ACC Tournament semifinals, returns four starters from that squad, including ACC All-Rookie Team pick Durand Scott, in addition to the ACC’s most accurate three-point shooter in Adrian Thomas
