Thursday, Nov. 20: The Hurricanes had a busy day in the U.S. Virgin Islands on Thursday preparing for the Paradise Jam. In addition to a two-hour practice session at the University of the Virgin Islands’ Sports and Fitness Center — home of the tournament, the University of Miami men’s basketball team also attended a team welcome party at Paradise Point.
Friday, Nov. 21: Game time! The Hurricanes knocked off Southern Miss, 70-60, in the opening game of the 2008 Paradise Jam and will take on the winner of the No. 2 Connecticut/La Salle game on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. (EST). The game will be broadcast live on Fox College Sports.
