No. 2 Miami (23-2, 9-1 ACC) looks to add to its 10-game winning streak when the Hurricanes host the Clemson Tigers (18-10, 6-6 ACC) for a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference set. Game times are 7 p.m., 7 p.m. and 1 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s and Sunday’s games will be televised live by CSS with play-by-play by Jason Solodkin and color by Wicho Hernandez. All three games will be carried on the radio by the Student Voice of UM, WVUM (90.5 FM), which can also be picked up online at www.wvum.org. WQAM 560AM will broadcast Sunday’s game. Spanish Radio (WWWK 102.5 FM and WPIK 104.5 FM) will carry the first two games of the series Friday and Saturday.
ABOUT THE MIAMI HURRICANES
Miami (23-2, 9-1 ACC) defeated Florida Atlantic, 16-7, Tuesday behind a career-best 4-for-5, 5 RBI performance from Dave DiNatale and erupted for 11 runs over the first three innings Wednesday enroute to a 13-2 win at Florida International. UM looks to extend its winning streak to 11 games – its longest streak since 2006 when the Hurricanes won 16 in a row. Junior centerfielder Blake Tekotte continues to be hot at the plate lately hitting .512 (22-for-43) during his 12-game hitting streak with 12 RBI and 18 runs. He’s owned a .625 on-base percentage and gone 9-of-11 in stolen bases. The Hurricanes bring a .344 team batting average into the weekend while the pitching staff has compiled a 3.45 team ERA. The team has hit .365 during its 10-game hitting streak while teams are hitting just .227 against a pitching staff that has 86 K’s in 91 innings.
Offensively, Preseason All-Americans Jemile Weeks (.404, 34 Runs, 36 Hits, 7 2B, 3 3B, 6 HR, 31 RBI) and Yonder Alonso (.392, 30 Runs, 31 Hits, 8 2B, 5 HR, 26 RBI) anchor the lineup, but center fielder Blake Tekotte (.386, 34 Runs, 34 Hits, 15 RBI, 14 SB), shortstop Ryan Jackson (.355, 23 Runs, 33 Hits, 2 HR, 24 RBI) and third baseman Mark Sobolewski (.364, 19 Runs, 36 Hits, 2 HR, 22 RBI) have all been hot. Junior right fielder Dennis Raben has now played in 13 straight games and hasn’t missed a beat. Raben is hitting .350 with 17 RBI, 18 runs scored and 18 RBI while walking 14 times. Nine of his 14 hits have gone for extra bases – five doubles and four home runs.
ABOUT THE CLEMSON TIGERS
Clemson brings an 18-10 overall record and 6-6 ACC record into the weekend while currently sitting in second place in the ACC Atlantic Division. The Tigers are dropped a mid-week series against Georgia, 11-3 and 6-4, after winning two of three at Maryland last weekend. After dropping its first two ACC series against Wake Forest and Boston College, the Tigers have series’ wins over NC State and Maryland.
Offensively, freshman third baseman Kyle Parker leads the team hitting .348 with 32 hits in 24 games. Parker enrolled at Clemson in January after graduating high school early. He has five doubles and six home runs for the Tigers. First baseman Ben Paulsen hits .347 with a team-high 34 hits and 25 runs scored while delivering nine doubles and eight home runs. Catcher Doug Hougan has a team-best 30 RBI. As a team, Clemson’s hitting .298 with 32 home runs. Clemson’s pitching staff boasts a 4.08 ERA. RHP D.J. Mitchell (3-2, 2.55 ERA) starts on Friday for the Tigers. Freshman RHP Graham Stoneburner (4-0, 2.31 ERA) will go on Saturday while junior LHP Ryan Hinson (2-3, 4.62 ERA) will start on Sunday.

Miami leads the all-time series, 23-22-1. The Hurricanes won the regular season series in 2007 but fell to the Tigers in extra innings in the ACC Tournament in 2007. Clemson has won eight of the last 10 meetings.
