Miami is coming off a disappointing loss to the No. 5 Maryland Terrapins Thursday night in College Park.  Maurita Reid was the only player for the Hurricanes that scored in double-figures with 15 points.

The 50-90 loss was the worst on the season for Miami and they will look to bounce back against BostonCollege.

A Look at BostonCollege

On Jan. 28, BostonCollege defeated Clemson, 68-63, as junior Brittanny Johnson had six of her 11 points in the final two minutes of action. Johnson went 4-for-5 from the free throw line in the final two minutes of the game.

Freshman Carolyn Swords, who also hit two free throws in the final seconds of the game, added 18 points and 10 rebounds in the win. It was Swords fifth double-double of the season and second in ACC competition.

The Series

The Hurricanes have been playing the Boston College Eagles since 1992 when both teams were a part of the BIG EAST.  Miami holds an all-time 17-10 advantage over the Eagles.

Boston College won the last contest 76-65 in Chestnut Hill, however, these two teams have alternated wins and losses over the last six games played.
