Miami won back-to-back games for the first time this season and are looking to make it three straight with a win over cross-town rival Florida International. UM forward Lamese James has been playing well for the Hurricanes, she made her first start of the season against Central Florida, recording her second double-double this year. She also scored a career-high 14 points in the win.

A Look at Florida International

FIU has played stiff competition in teams like DePaul, Florida State, Providence, South Carolina and South Florida. Florida International is led by LaQuetta Ferguson who is scoring 20 points per game. Iva Ciglar puts up 10 points a night as well as five assists a game.
