CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Junior Tim Harris of the University of Miami men’s track and field team will head to Sacramento, Calif., Wed., June 6 in hopes of vying for his first national title in the 800-meters as he competes at the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Championships.

The reigning two-time ACC 800-Meter Outdoor Champion, Harris heads to Sacramento State’s Hornet Stadium looking to build on a seventh-place finish at last year’s NCAA Championships which garnered him All-America honors.

He automatically qualified for the 800-meter field last weekend at the NCAA East Regionals with a third place finish.

The first round of the 800-meters is slated to begin Wed. at 3:40 p.m. (PST) followed by the semifinals Thurs. at 4:50 p.m. (PST) The finals will begin Sat. at 10:19 p.m. (PST)
