CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami swimming and diving team are set to take on in-state rival Florida Atlantic in a dual meet Saturday, February 3 beginning 11 a.m. at the FAU pool in Boca Raton, Fla.

The Hurricanes (3-4, 0-1 ACC) will compete in their final regular season dual meet, after defeating cross-town rival Florida International 156-60 in a dual match at home.

Miami is led this season by three freshmen, with two swimmers leading in two different events.

Kelly Pelloquin leads the Hurricanes in the 400 yard Individual Medley (IM) with a time of 4:31.45 posted early in the season against FIU. The rookie from Baltimore, Md. posted a first-place finish against the Golden Panthers.

In the 200 yard freestyle and 200 yard IM, Britta Boesing leads all swimmers this season clocking in at 1:54.70 for third place in the freestyle against Rice University for third place. In the 200 IM, she finished second place with a time of 2:06.61 against fifth ranked Texas A&M.

Early in the season, the Hurricanes hosted back-to-back dual meets against ACC foe Florida State and Western Kentucky. That weekend, freshman Katie Eason posted the best time on the season in the 200 yard butterfly clocking in at 2:06.41against FSU to capture third place, and captured the first place win in 100 yard butterfly with a time of 57.88.

Miami looks to continue on a winning path as they face FAU. Both teams met earlier in the season when the Owls paid a visit to Coral Gables won 163-136.
