EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) -Yassin Idbihi scored 22 points on 9-of-21 shooting and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Buffalo to a 60-57 victory over Miami Saturday night in the America’s Youth Classic.
Miami (3-1) led 32-28 at halftime in a game that had 16 lead changes. Jimmy Graham’s layup with 18:13 remaining gave the Hurricanes their largest lead of seven points.
Idbihi hit a jumper with five seconds remaining to put Buffalo (3-1) ahead for good 59-57.
Buffalo’s Parnell Smith added 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting and five rebounds as the Bulls outrebounded Miami 43-35.
Jack McClinton hit 6-of-13 field goals and scored 21 points to lead Miami. The Hurricanes forced 15 turnovers which they turned into 24 points.
