Hurricanes Hold Exhibition Game against Barry Saturday Morning

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Fans can get an early look at the University of Miami women’s basketball team Saturday morning when second-year head coach Katie Meier and the Hurricanes host Barry at the BankUnited Center at 10:30 a.m. in a preseason exhibition game which will be free to the public.

Miami opens the season and with a two-game home stand against Georgia State (Nov. 10) and 2006 NCAA Tournament participant Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Nov. 13).

Season ticket packages for the 2006-07 season start at just $75 dollars and include admission to all 15 home games. Fans can also purchase the Family Plan and receive admission to all home games for two adults and three children for just $100 dollars.

Enjoy Free Lunch with the Hurricanes
The first 1,000 fans in attendance at UM’s Monday, Nov. 13 game versus Wisconsin-Milwaukee – scheduled for 12 p.m. – will receive a complimentary lunch on behalf of the University of Miami.

All UM employees and students will receive complimentary admission to Monday’s game with a valid Cane Card.

Don’t Miss Youth Day on Nov. 13
On Monday, November 13, at 12:00 p.m., the Women’s Basketball team will be hosting Youth Day at the BankUnited Center. The Miami Hurricanes will take on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and all elementary and middle schools are invited to participate. The University of Miami will provide FREE transportation to the game as well as FREE lunch at the game.
