Sacramento, Calif. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami All-American Tim Harris (Miami Booker T. Washington) will begin competition in the 800-meters Wednesday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Sacramento, Calif.

Harris, the ACC Indoor and Outdoor Champion, qualified for the NCAA Championships with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA East Regional two weeks ago in Greensboro, N.C.

The sophomore finished 10th in the event at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships becoming Miami’s first All-American since Aaron Moser (decathlon) in 2000.

The opening round of the men’s 800-meters is set to begin at 3:55 p.m (PT).
