No. 21 Miami Hosts West Virginia

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The No. 21-ranked Miami women’s basketball team hosts West Virginia in a BIG EAST matchup Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Convocation Center.
The Hurricanes (20-5, 9-5 BIG EAST) enter the contest after falling at Notre Dame Wednesday night.
The Mountaineers (19-7, 10-4 BIG EAST) enter the contest on the winning path beating Rutgers Tuesday night.
West Virginia is tied with Villanova for third place in the conference standings at 10-4, while Miami is tied with Boston College for fifth place at 9-5 in conference play.
Miami leads the all-time series 11-3 over the Mountaineers. The Hurricanes have won eight of the last 10 meetings but have lost the last two matchups with WVU.
Miami has never lost to WVU at home owning a 7-0 advantage in Coral Gables. The Hurricanes fell 100-84 to West Virginia in Morgantown last season.
Tamara James leads Miami with 16.9 points per game, while Kate Bulger leads WVU with 14.8 points per game.
