The Hurricanes Host St. John's

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The University of Miami women’s basketball team hosts St. John’s Tuesday night in a BIG EAST match up at 7 p.m. at the Convocation Center.
The Hurricanes (16-4, 5-4) are on a three-game losing streak after falling to No. 4 Connecticut Sunday afternoon in Storrs, Conn.
The Red Storm (9-12, 3-7) won their last outing 83-75 over Providence Sunday afternoon in Jamaica, N.Y.
This will be the second meeting between the two teams this season. Miami won the first meeting on Jan. 3, 2004 at Alumni Hall 79-60.
The Hurricanes have won the last seven over SJU and lead the all-time series 17-6.
Miami, ranked 22nd in the AP poll last week, dropped out after the 83-65 loss at Connecticut. The Hurricanes had been ranked for five weeks.
Four Miami starters average double figures, with Tamara James (16.1 ppg) and Chanivia Broussard (14.3) leading the way.
Kim Mac Millan leads the Red Storm with 15.6 points per game.
The game will air same day delay on Sunshine Network at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10th. The game will be broadcast live on WVUM-90.5 FM or via the internet at hurricanesports.com.
