Hurricanes to Hand Out Thanksgiving Dinners

Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) — – On Monday, November 17th, several student-athletes from the Hurricanes’ football, women’s rowing, women’s track, women’s volleyball, men’s tennis and women’s soccer programs will hand out Thanksgiving dinners to six Miami-area organizations.
The student-athletes will be handing out the dinners at the women’s basketball exhibition game at the Convocation Center. The organizations will be arriving at 6 p.m. and the Tournament of Champions Exhibition game begins at 7 p.m.
The various teams will distribute 75 full dinners, donated by Sysco Food Services of South Florida. This Thanksgiving will mark the eighth consecutive year that the University of Miami Athletics has reached out to the community during the holidays.
The six Miami-area organizations scheduled to pick up dinners are:
