Women's Basketball Hosts Providence

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami women’s basketball team hosts Providence in a BIG EAST matchup Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Convocation Center located on the UM campus.

Miami enters the contest 14-9 overall and 6-6 in the BIG EAST, while the Friars are 9-15 overall and 3-10 in conference.

The Hurricanes lead the all-time series 14-6 over the Friars.

Miami is in seventh place in the BIG EAST while Providence is in 12th place.

Tamara James leads Miami averaging 21.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. Michal Epstein leads the Friars with 14.7 per game.
