Women's Basketball Travels To West Virginia

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami women’s basketball team travels to face West Virginia in a BIG EAST matchup Saturday at 2 p.m. in WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, W.Va.
The Hurricanes enter the contest 14-7 overall and 6-4 in the BIG EAST. West Virginia is 12-9 overall and 1-9 in the conference.
Miami leads the all-time series 11-2 over the Mountaineers. WVU won the last meeting between the two teams but Miami has won the last eight-of-nine over the Mountaineers.
The Hurricanes are currently in sixth place in the BIG EAST standings while the Mountaineers are last in 14th place.
Tamara James (Dania, Fla.) averages 22.8 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in BIG EAST games on the road.
Yalonda McCormick (Miami, Fla.) averages 13.4 points and 5.6 assists in conference games on the road.
Kate Bulger leads the Mountaineers averaging 14.4 points per game.
The game will be broadcast on WVUM-90.5 FM tape delay following the Miami/Floridabaseball game.
