Women's Basketball Travels To Pittsburgh

Coral Gables, FL (hurricanesports.com) – The Miami women’s basketball team travels to face Pittsburgh Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the new Petersen Events Center.

The Hurricanes (11-4 overall, 3-1 BIG EAST) look to rebound from a 79-61 loss to No. 24/22 Boston College a week ago in the Convocation Center.

Pittsburgh (9-6 overall, 1-3 BIG EAST) is coming off of a 75-51 victory over St. John’s Saturday night. The Panthers are 6-1 at home this season, while Miami is a perfect 3-0 in conference action on the road.

Miami leads the all-time series 14-8 over the Panthers.

Freshman Tamara James leads Miami with 24.3 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.

Senior Laine Selwyn leads the Panthers with 15.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
