Women's Basketball Hosts FAU

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami women’s basketball team looks to snap a three-game losing streak as they host the winless Florida Atlantic Owls Monday night at 7 p.m. at Knight Sports Complex.

The Hurricanes enter the contest 3-3 overall while the Owls are 0-6 on the season.

Miami has never lost to FAU entering the contest with a 13-0 lead in the all-time series.

Freshman Tamara James continues to lead the Miami offense averaging 24.0 points and 10-5 rebounds per game.

The Owls are led by senior forward Tamica Pierce with 13.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.

The game will be broadcast live on WVUM (90.5 FM).
