Women's Basketball Set To Face Seton Hall

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The University of Miami women’s basketball team will host visiting Seton Hall Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Miami Arena.

The Hurricanes (10-6, 3-3) beat Syracuse, 75-71, in overtime Wednesday night. Seton Hall (9-7, 1-4) fell at home to Villanova, 59-52, in its last outing.

Miami leads the all-time series 11-8. The Hurricanes lost to the Pirates, 69-61, last season after winning the previous seven in a row.

Miami is currently in sixth place in the BIG EAST standings, while SHU is in a three-way tie for 11th place.

Chanivia Broussard (Miami, Fla.) has led Miami in four of the last five games and leads the team averaging 13.5 points per game.

Charlene Thomas leads the Pirates averaging 12.1 points per game.
