Women's Basketball Downs Lehigh, 76-49

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami women’s basketball team advances to the championship game of the Gatorade Holiday Classic with a 76-49 victory over Lehigh University Thursday night in Knight Sports Complex.
The Hurricanes (7-2) will face Yale (6-3) at 7 p.m. Friday night in Knight Sports Complex, while Lehigh (4-6) and Bowling Green (2-8) face off in the consolation game at 5 p.m.
Yale beat Bowling Green in the first game of the tournament 51-47.
Miami has won four in a row and is a perfect 5-0 at home this season.
Junior Meghan Saake led the Hurricanes with 17 points, while Alicia Hartlaub (Schaefferstown, Pa.) and Hutashi Wilson (Toronto, Canada) added 16 and 15 points respectively.
Martha Bodley (St. Croix, Virgin Islands) came off of the bench to lead Miami with 12 rebounds in 19 minutes of action.
The Hurricanes took the lead at 17:43 in the first half and led for the remainder of the game.
Miami owned only a four-point lead (31-27) at halftime but opened the second half on a 13-4 run to take control.
UM cruised to a 27-point victory over the Mountain Hawks shooting 67% from the field in the second half and forcing 25 Lehigh turnovers for the game.
