Women's Basketball Travels To Face FAU

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami women’s basketball team will travel to Boca Raton to face Florida Atlantic Saturday at 3 p.m. at FAU Gymnasium.

The Hurricanes (5-2) look to remain undefeated against the Owls (2-4), leading the all-time series 12-0.

Miami is coming off a 57-55 victory over No. 17 Texas in the Orange Bowl Classic last Sunday, while FAU looks to get back on the winning path after falling 103-92 to Eastern Illinois.

Chanivia Broussard leads all scorers averaging 11.3 points per game. Broussard was named the Orange Bowl MVP after leading Miami to victory with 23 points and six blocked shots.

Tamica Pierce leads the Owls with 18.7 points per game.

The game will be broadcast live on WVUM, 90.5 FM.
