Women's Basketball Set To Face No. 17 Texas

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami women’s basketball team will face No. 17 Texas in the third annual Orange Bowl Fab Four Classic Sunday at 4 p.m. at the American Airlines Arena.
Miami (4-2) will face Texas (6-0) for the first time in over 15 years. The two teams have only met one time, with the Longhorns leading the all-time series 1-0.
The first game will pit, Florida International University, against Mountain West champion Colorado State University at 1 p.m.
The Hurricanes defeated BIG EAST foe West Virginia 69-53 Tuesday night. Junior Meghan Saake leads UM with 12.7 points per game and 6.3 rebounds.
The undefeated Longhorns have won six straight and are led in scoring by Stacy Stephens with 12.8 points per game.
The Miami/Texas game will be televised live on Sunshine Network and broadcast on WVUM, 90.5 FM.
