Women's Basketball Travels To Face Kentucky

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami women’s basketball team travels to face Kentucky Saturday at 7 p.m. in Lexington, Ky.

The Hurricanes (3-1) travel to Memorial Coliseum for the first time in 15 years. Kentucky (2-2) owns a 4-1 all-time lead over UM.

Miami beat UK for the first time 74-59 last season in Coral Gables.

Four UM players are averaging in double-digits, with senior Sheila James (Orlando, Fla.) leading the way, averaging 14.5 points per game and 5.0 assists per game.

Junior Meghan Saake (Wellington, Fla.) and sophomore Hutashi Wilson (Toronto, Canada) follow with 12.5 points per game.

Junior Alicia Hartlaub (Schaefferstown, Pa.) rounds out the leaders with 11.3 points per game.

Sophomore SeSe Helm leads the Wildcats averaging 17.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

The game will be broadcast live on WVUM (90.5 FM).
