Women's Basketball Season Tickets Now Available

Coral Gables, FL (hurricanesports.com) – Season tickets for the 2001-02 University of Miami women’s basketball season are on sale at the UM Ticket Office located at the Hecht Athletic Center on the UM campus.

Season tickets for Miami’s 15-game home schedule are just $25 and include admission for two adults and three children.

UM’s home schedule includes seven non-conference games and eight BIG EAST Conference battles. The Hurricanes’ non-conference schedule is highlighted by games against Big Ten foes Northwestern (Nov. 21) and Minnesota (Dec. 30), as well as a contest against cross-town rival Florida International (Feb. 16).

Season tickets also include admission to the Gatorade Holiday Classic (Dec. 27-28). Joining Miami at this season’s Classic are Yale, Bowling Green and Lehigh.

The Hurricanes’ BIG EAST schedule is highlighted by a visit from defending NCAA National Champion Notre Dame (Jan. 2). Other BIG EAST clashes include games with perennial powers Rutgers (Jan. 26), Virginia Tech (Feb. 20) and Boston College (Feb. 26).

The Hurricane Ticket Office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Fans wishing to place orders by phone can call the UM Ticket Office at 1-800-GO-CANES.
