Hurricanes Hoopsters Have New Look!

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Following on the heels of its Hurricane gridironuniform innovations, Nike Team Sports outfits the Hurricanes with basketballattire that incorporate the unique look and identity package unveiledearlier in the year for the football team.
Nike Team Sports has integrated a more modern aesthetic to the overalldesign of the uniform. Its sleek design lines run from the jersey all theway through the short, accented by contrast piping.
Nike has also incorporated technological advances and uniform fit inspiredby advances in Nike’s Sydney Olympic basketball uniforms. Additionally, thegraphic package is updated to include new “Miami” type on home uniform and abold, two-tone “U” graphic only on the away uniform jersey. Graphicinnovations also include an iconographic “U” logo on short panels and thenew “Ibis” on the lowerback.
Nike Team Sports will also offer an extensive line of Miami retail productsfor Fall 2001.
