Camilla Osth Named February Academic All-Star

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — (www.hurricanesports.com) – Senior Camilla Osth is a standout forward/center of the women’s basketball team. She has been selected as the March University of Miami Athletic Department Academic All-Star after garnering a 3.53 GPA in Marketing.

The native of Sodertalje, Sweden is a four-year letterwinner and has been named to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star team all four-years of her career. The most experienced post player to return to the team this season has played in 26 games making eight starts. She played for her native Sweden in the World University Games last summer.

She has remarkable quickness and athleticism for a player her size and is skilled offensively with excellent post moves and a soft touch from the perimeter. She has emerged as key defender with shot blocking capabilities. She earned her career-high of four blocked shots versus Florida International earlier this year.
