Women's Basketball Travels To Face Syracuse

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The University of Miami women’s basketball team travels to take on Syracuse Saturday at 2 p.m. in its final road game of the season.

Miami enters the contest 13-12 overall and 6-8 in the BIG EAST, while the Orangewomen are 11-13 overall and 5-9 in conference.

The Hurricanes lead the all-time series 13-4, and have won the last six-of-seven meetings.

Miami looks to rebound back from an 81-43 loss to No. 2 Notre Dame Tuesday night. Sheila James (Rubonia, Fla.) was the lone Hurricane to score in double-digits with 11 points.

Syracuse fell 55-45 to St. John’s Tuesday night, Paula Moore led the Orangewomen with 22 points.

Chanivia Broussard (Miami, Fla.) continues to lead Miami averaging 12.5 points per game. Beth Record leads Syracuse with 13.3 points per game.
