UM Women's Basketball Team Earns Academic Honor

The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its 2000 Academic Top-25 Team Honor Roll, which recognizes the nation’s highest NCAA Division I, II, III, Junior/Community College and NAIA team grade point averages for the 1999-00 season.
The University of Miami women’s basketball team finished among the top 10 in the nation with the ninth highest grade point average of 3.340. UM was the only BIG EAST school to make the prestigious list.
