Hurricanes Headed To Baton Rouge

Coral Gables, FL – The University of Miami men’s tennis team (19-4) will take on Clemson University (17-16) in the opening round of the NCAA Tennis Championships in Baton Rouge, LA.

The Hurricanes are seeded second in the regional, which includes host Louisiana State (18-5) and Alcorn State (17-7). The winner of the four-team regional will advance to the Sweet Sixteen, May 20-23, in Athens, GA.

Miami, ranked 21st in the nation, earned an automatic berth to the NCAA Championships on the strength of its BIG EAST Championship victory over Notre Dame on April 23.
