Moss Sets School Record

SOUTH BEND, IN – University of Miami junior sprinter Santana Moss (Coral City, FL) set a school record and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships with his second-place finish in the 60-meter dash (6.72) at the Adidas/Meyo Invitational in South Bend, IN.

Moss, the defending BIG EAST Champion in the 60-meter dash, also took home a fourth-place finish in the long jump, with a leap of 7.23 meters (23-8.75).

In the other events, sophomore Gus Martin (Miami, FL) finished fifth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.11) and sixth in the 200-meter dash (21.92). Junior Jabari Ennis (Kingston, Jamacia) grabbed a sixth-place finish in the pole vault at a height of 4.72 meters (15-6).

The Hurricanes return to action on Saturday, February 19 when they head to Syracuse, NY for the BIG EAST Indoor Championships.
